Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of ArmoryLink at armorylink.com and related services (the “Service”), operated by Six87 Labs LLC, an Iowa limited liability company doing business as ArmoryLink (“Six87 Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

ArmoryLink provides tools to import player-exported World of Warcraft character snapshots, store private drafts, and publish shareable private armory pages (identity-redacted by default), along with related account, credit, and display features. The Service is an independent fan tool and is not an official Blizzard product.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Accounts and authentication

• You must provide a valid email address you control for magic-link sign-in.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your email secure.
• Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create risk, or abuse the Service.

4. Your content and license

“User Content” means character exports, drafts, listings, and other materials you upload or generate through the Service. As between you and us, you retain ownership of your User Content, subject to any third-party rights (including game publishers).

By uploading User Content, you grant Six87 Labs a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, reproduce, display, transmit, and create technical derivatives of that content solely as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service (including rendering public armory pages you choose to publish).

You represent and warrant that:

• You have the right to upload and share the User Content
• Your use of the Service does not violate applicable law, game terms of use, or third-party rights
• User Content is not malicious and does not include malware or unauthorized personal data of others

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive activity
• Attempt unauthorized access, probe vulnerabilities, or disrupt infrastructure
• Scrape, harvest, or bulk-export data in a way that burdens or harms the Service
• Upload malware or content unrelated to legitimate character armory use
• Misrepresent export completeness in a knowingly deceptive way
• Resell, white-label, or sublicense the Service without our prior written consent
• Interfere with other users’ enjoyment of the Service

6. Credits, pricing, and payments

• Importing drafts is free. Publishing or updating a shareable armory link may consume credits as described on the Service.
• New accounts may receive a promotional signup credit (publish-only). Promotional grants can change or be discontinued.
• Paid credit packs, when offered, are described at purchase time. Unless required by law, purchased credits are non-transferable and non-refundable once delivered.
• Payments are processed by third-party processors (for example Stripe). Their terms and privacy notices apply to payment data they collect.
• Prices, pack sizes, and credit rules may change; changes will not retroactively remove credits already purchased without a corresponding Service change notice where required.

7. Shared armories; no marketplace

Published armory links may expire, be unpublished by you, or be removed by us for abuse, legal, security, or operational reasons. We do not guarantee that a URL will remain available forever.

ArmoryLink is not a character marketplace, broker, escrow, payment intermediary, or guarantor of any off-platform sale or trade. Any negotiation or transaction between users happens outside the Service and is solely between those parties.

8. Intellectual property

The Service—including software, design, branding, and documentation—is owned by Six87 Labs or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, no license is granted to you.

World of Warcraft® and related marks are property of their respective owners. ArmoryLink is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Blizzard Entertainment. Game data shown is player-exported and/or enriched from public community sources for display.

9. Third-party services

The Service may rely on third-party infrastructure and data sources (hosting, email, payments, icon/tooltip providers). We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control. Your use of third-party services may be subject to their terms.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SIX87 LABS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ARMORY PAGES ARE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, CURRENT, OR FREE OF RESIDUAL IDENTITY LEAKAGE, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SIX87 LABS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER THEORY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO SIX87 LABS FOR CREDITS IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

12. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Six87 Labs and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if needed to protect the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, limitations, and indemnity) will survive termination.

14. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated by additional notice when appropriate. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Except where prohibited, you agree that state and federal courts located in Iowa will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

Before filing a claim, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting hello@six87.com and allowing 30 days for a response.

16. Miscellaneous

• These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
• If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.
• Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
• You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
